It is with great pleasure and honor that I welcome you to the 3rd International Conference on Industry-Academia Initiatives in Biotechnology and Chemistry (iCIABC2025), which will be held virtually on 26-27 August 2025. This year’s conference is organized by the Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), in collaboration with the American Chemical Society (ACS) Malaysia Chapter and Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Jogyakarta (UNISA), Indonesia.

The theme for iCIABC2025, "Sustainable Growth through Collaboration and Technological Advancements", reflects our shared commitment to driving innovation and sustainable progress in the fields of biotechnology and chemistry. As we align our efforts with the goals of Malaysia’s New Industrial Master Plan 2030, this conference provides a valuable platform for fostering meaningful discussions and building strong partnerships that will shape the future of these crucial industries.

In this rapidly evolving world, collaboration between academia, industry, and government is more important than ever. The virtual iCIABC2025 will bring together a diverse group of participants. Together, we will explore the latest innovations, challenges, and opportunities in biotechnology and chemistry, and how we can work collaboratively to create a sustainable and technologically advanced future. We are confident that the knowledge shared here will not only advance research but also contribute to the global movement towards sustainability and industrial growth.
